Valley Truck Center's Great Lakes Truck Centers, is currently looking for a Used Truck Sales Representative.

All Sales experience will be considered i.e; furniture sales, in-home sales, door-to-door sales, insurance sales, real estate sales, etc.

We have a strong formula for success and $10+ million dollars of Used inventory

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Developing a prospect database through:

• Cold call prospecting
• Networking

Timely follow-up with prospects and customers

Preparation of analysis, specifications, and proposals for prospects and customers

• Knowledge of vehicle product
• Knowledge of financing options
• Knowledge of extended warranty and service plans

Promote interdepartmental teamwork and communication

Assist in developing inventory for out of stock purchases

Assist prospects and customers with service needs

Additional administrative responsibilities include:

• Prepare and review documents for commercial account transactions
• Assure all aspects of the delivery are given top priority
• Conduct customer service activities in line with dealership practices
• Review goal achievement and establish new ones as required
• Other general responsibilities defined by the dealership

Basic Qualifications:

• Used truck sales experience preferred
• Technical proficiency: Has working knowledge of voicemail, e-mail, & Microsoft Office
• Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to consistently up-sell. Understand and use basic selling techniques: open, probe, presentation, and overcoming objections.
• Planning skills. Must be a well-organized individual with the ability to plan customer visits in an efficient manner. Written monthly and weekly sales call reports are required.
• Valid in-state Driver’s License. The dealership will assist in CDL certification.
• Complete and maintain manufacturer’s sales training certifications every year.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
